Jogging pain may be due to X-legs

Knee pain after jogging may be due to an unrecognized axle deviation of the legs: so-called X-legs.
If you have pain in your knee after a jog or longer walks, you should go to the doctor. Perhaps there is an unrecognized axis deviation of the legs behind, explains the German Society of Endoprosthetics.
X-legs or O-legs can cause the joints to be unfavorably loaded. As a result, the cartilage wears faster - a painful osteoarthritis threatens. Even complaints when climbing stairs are a reason to go to the orthopedist.
If a malposition causes complaints, it is usually treated first by wearing a special insole. It increases, for example, the inner or outer edge in the shoe, which counteracts an overload.
